3G Modem

Good morning

I have a little issue with my 8.ta modem I bought back in 2012/13 can't remember. It seem my Samsung galaxy j5 is not fast than the modem. The issue with the modem is signal, it can be in the same spot as the J5 but the modem will get weak signal.

Could the modem be out dated or what?. Most of my downloads I do them with my J5. Around my house I get good 3G signal but my modem get weak signal.

Your old modem may pickup different frequency band, giving faster speed. J5 ia LTE capable, it will use LTE where is available. Can you force 3G access on J5?
