Okay so now if i stay on 3g i save R129-00 a month.

Or i can go for HSDPA which is faster but i will use up my bandwidth quicker.

What i now need is a way to convert that R129-00 to extra megs.

So what are the rest of you going to do.

1.) Use 3g
2.) HSDPA

Which is more important speed or quantity ?

Hi Web

I think only you can answer that question, but personally I will fork out the extra 20% for the additional speed. Last week I did a presentation on P2P and other web services and the HSDPA speed was impressive…downloaded at around 1.4 Mbps on P2P. If finances are tight 3G is a good alternative, but I am personally willing to sacrifice my gf’s allowance for some extra speed :D

Not to derail the thread, does these mean that P2P is not shaped on HSDPA?

I agree with rpm.

As I have said in another thread, I have been paying the same price for 3G and now HSDPA so it doesn't make much of difference to me...except for the speed of course. ;)

But for someone wanting to take out a new contract, they have the choice of the lower/higher rates and slow/fast speeds depending on their budget.
