The billion dollar inventory write-off, the lay-off of 4500 employees and the botched BBM migration..... I think the investors have been hoodwinked by Thorsten and co by driving market sentiment and stock prices lower. Then from nowhere, a 4.7B offer at 9 dollars a share.. Thorsten walks off will a cool 55 000 000, and Blackberry lives another day as a private company without the scrutiny and pressure of financial disclosure every 3 months - I think it's a bargain deal.

EDIt

With 2 billion in cash reserves and all the IP, for that price - bargain.
