4 DStv Premium channels coming to Compact subscribers for free

We have different ideas about what "Premium" means obviously.
 
You'd think that since it's for less than a month they'd offer really premium channels to tempt customers to upgrade
 
Ungrateful gits.

What is wrong with Lifetime (DStv 131), Nickelodeon (DStv 305), and Comedy Central (DStv 122)?
 
K@k channels. Not sure how these will get customers to upgrade to a premium product.

My guess is its to get the kids hooked on those channels and when they remove them the moaning starts.
 
if its for a limited time rather give the good channels that will make ppl go to premium like discovery the mnet movies

but anyways free channels even for a little wile its nice

This still wont force or entice people to upgrade.
 
Over and above the issue of the quality of these "premium" channels, is the question:

Well MonoChoice wants to get them young, so that when they leave Mom and Pop they automatically join the ranks of other sheeple. By then I imagine the DSTV subs will be R2500 pm and show movies from 1995, and will consist of ad breaks mostly of them pimping their own channels...

Heh, my nieces/nephews(5-9years old etc) watch youtube or twitch streams etc... the 'tv' is just a big screen for playstation and dvd
