I just bought one of these babies from the Spaza Shop up the road for R35.00.

I don't think he actually knows what they are.

His USB Bluetooth Dongles are R30.00 each!

The shop is on the North West Corner of the Main and Betty Street Intersection, in Jeppestown Jhb. It's just a little General Dealer shop. Carries all kinds of bargains, blankets, platicware, cheap radios and stuff.

Tomorrow I will go and see if he has anymore.

It's a Smyka Pen Drive 4Gb USB 2.0 Flash Disk

Comes in the Plastic Clam Shell with the USB logo, certified for Mac and MS Windows. Instructions on the back (No Driver needed). Made in Taiwan.

I didn't see anymore lying on the shelf, but he said they came in a batch.

He also had the BlueTooth Dongle and a bunch of little MP3 Players and headphones.

you could have bought his entire stock and resold it for R300 each and made a tidy profit. but now we all know where to get them although if i get another USB memory thing as a corporate gift i am going to die.

I'm gonna go there again on my lunch break tomorrow and ask what else he has. I will def. take the bluetooth dongle. If he has more of these pen drives I will pick them up as well for you guys.

haha... I asked the guy at the shop and he does not have anymore, but he says he will try and get some more for me next week. I guess he has to find another truck to do the "delivery"!

But I did get a Sansui Car Radio/DVD Player/MP3/Divx Player for R690.00.

I love these lil shops! there's a ton of them on Main street in Jeppestown.
