No they wouldn't. Just look at VW - they killed off the Jetta and Passat in South Africa, because people apparently only want crossovers these days.

Sedans are not a big seller unless they're German or Japanese.

SUVs are the craze, that's why Hyundai has 5 of them up for sale with a 6th (Palisade) on the way.

Yeah, I'd love to know who did that market research.

It's more a case of the motor industry only supplies shitty suvs and crossovers, and then thinks that's what people want, cause that's all people buy. Sort of self fulfilling nightmare from where I stand.

Everybody laments the lack of affordable sedans and stationwagons in SA, then goes and doesn't buy one anyway.
