43-year-old Pietermaritzburg made fake banknotes using her home printer

Fellow in Mitchell's Plain made fake R200 notes about 10 years back. He would conceal them in a bundle of real notes, then buy fuel at night, where the lighting was poor

It is estimated that he got away with it for about 3 months

Then the silly bugger went and told his friends about it. He was caught in a sting that night.

He used HP 135gm photo paper and a HP colour laser. I never saw any of his creations but his neighbour, who was a customer of mine, said that in daylight you could see they were not the real thing. In poor light, especially an orange street light, there was no difference

I hope it didn't have a subscription service.

They actually do. The info is there, it's massive and sometimes it's extremely perverse. What lacks is the will.

Would this interest you? Or would you rather like to hire my Canon Pixma at only R2000/day?

Where did you buy I mean where did he buy the photo paper? Makro? Takealot? Loot? Incredible?

I like this story.

You really come across like a bloke with a ton of stories of very varied nature.
