Hi,

I was hoping someone might help. I have been using free download manager (http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/) on my TelkomInternet and IS accounts very successfully for about a month. At around 10 o'clock last night it suddenly decided it could only download at two or three bytes per second on both my IS and Telkom accounts.

However, using the standard downloader in firefox I was able to download on a single thread at around 230KB on IS and around 70KB on Telkom.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Are you downloading from a different source? Some servers do not allow multiple connections.

Thanks bwana, different sources produced the same result, however I have just rebooted my poor old box (first time in about two weeks) and that seems to have resolved the issue.

Still, if anyone could suggest alternative free download managers they might be using I would be very appreciative...

But i did update it after that aswell.
