Do any of these things have gigabit Ethernet, I hate it when they say just Ethernet and it turns out to be 100Mbps.

One of the issues with my ATV4 , the Ethernet is 100Mbps while my entire network was setup for gigabit so every so often I get the plex "upgrade your network speed" thing which dissapears if I switch to wifi 5ghz.

How do these devices compare to a Chromecast apart from the fact that they have a remote? I would like to get another Chromecast and wonder what would make the one a better option than the other.

Mine runs off the router servicing my house. Router is a good 12m away from the MiBox

Netflix recommends 200mbps. I'm pretty sure the 11ac on the MiBox should handle that comfortably

My bad... I read it as 25MBps. That makes it even more achievable over old school 11b/g/n wifi, although most people probably have at least an 11n router by now

Unless I'm misunderstanding, Neflix recommend 25Mbps for UHD .

But I agree that 802.11ac should suffice if in the same room or fairly close
