Mine runs off the router servicing my house. Router is a good 12m away from the MiBoxThing is you have create a special hotspot near the box, instead of just running a cable.
Netflix recommends 200mbps. I'm pretty sure the 11ac on the MiBox should handle that comfortably
My bad... I read it as 25MBps. That makes it even more achievable over old school 11b/g/n wifi, although most people probably have at least an 11n router by nowYou mean 25Mbps
Below are the internet download speed recommendations per stream for playing TV shows and movies through Netflix.
- 0.5 Megabits per second - Required broadband connection speed
- 1.5 Megabits per second - Recommended broadband connection speed
- 3.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for SD quality
- 5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality
- 25 Megabits per second - Recommended for Ultra HD quality

I got a USD ethernet adapter, which works well.If only the Mi box had Ethernet.

Correct. As mentioned above I somehow managed to read 25MBps...Unless I'm misunderstanding, Neflix recommend 25Mbps for UHD .
But I agree that 802.11ac should suffice if in the same room or fairly close
anybody sideloaded Netflix on the Skyworth?

Heya.. I walked into a Matrix warehouse store one day and bought it there. Will see if I can get a link.link?

O okay. Thought you bought online.
Had a MiBox 3 for a long time, but it just cannot do UHD with 7.1 ATMOS output that I need for my setup.
Cool.. Thought it was specific to the device.. but this works you say? Nice! Here you go...
