Hi guys , just need a little info and help.

I was on the R199 10gig promo and went to a telkom mobile store to get the wireless uncapped for R699 but found out that my area was not covered for lte and also we are not covered for fibre.However my area does pick up LTE cyan blue signal on the B315 huawei router.

I opted for the sim only 50gb+50gb month to month for R699.
How will the pro rata rate be calculated ?

I was upgraded from the R199 10 gig promo to the new R699 50gb+50gb sim only month to month data deal.I didnot have to apply for the data deal.I did not take the device , just the sim and data.

I was not given a copy of the contract.

Any help is appreciated.

In terms of pro-rata, what they told me was that I'll get no bill for this month, but next month I'll pay the pro rata amount (10/30*739=) R246, plus the R200 charge for the SIM only deal, plus the R739. So my first full month will cost R1185. I'm not sure if you pay upfront or at the end of the month.

Would be good for someone with experience to confirm.

The telkom consultant made me sign the agreement for R699 as per application contract.I read and saw the contract application in full.Its ending this month end in May 2016.It month to month as well.cancellation can be done at any time but you have to tell them 30 days in advance.LTE speeds and great awesome connection.50gb during day and 50gb midnight data.any telkom store near you.

will keep you informed by debit order date is set at 25th monthly.lets see how the billing works out.just hope the consultant deactivated and closed the 10gig promo data account sim.guess that will be billed as normal.maybe the telkom rep can give more insight.
