Hi Everyone. I have a quick question about the 60GB + 60GB deal (sorry if this has been asked and answered before)... Will 5GB (+5GB night surfer) be loaded onto a SIM at the beginning of every month for 12 months, or is the entire 120GB loaded onto the SIM immediately after purchase?

Thanks for the info! I am now less keen on 8ta 60GB+60GB, because I need it to last for the entire year and I cannot trust myself with 120GB.

Can anyone suggest any good deals that are prepaid but the data is loaded monthly? I currently have Cell C's 2GBp/m which is ending soon - I have had terrible issues with Cell C as the network in my area (Pietermaritzburg, KZN) is VERY bad!

8ta's 2+1 GB deal is about the best around, AFAIK, for R149. It's not automatically loaded monthly, but you are in control of this yourself, and it will in fact stretch into the next calendar month if you still have some balance left over at the end of the month. Works for me!

Cell C indeed launched its highly-trumpeted campaign to blanket the country with its own towers, but then somehow ran out of steam around the time the last CEO left. The very large city of Rustenburg and its environs, for example, has been promised dedicated Cell C coverage for well over a year, and many of us have now simply drifted away to other providers in despair.

If you have Vodacom 3G coverage then you can still buy CellC and roam onto Vodacom network.

3G roaming agrement has been signed, while not implemented yet. You can try in your area with prepaid SIM and post results on Cell C section.
If you think about Giganite - no 3G roaming for this deal.

I can confirm from my own local experience that Cell C roaming on a Vodacom tower is still restricted to EDGE speed.
