so i see that something with SLI is not coming retail.

does that mean that if you buy 2 that you have to wait for drivers or sometin
(not that im gonna buy 2)

it dont even support Dx10 so what is the use of spending that money when in a month or 5 the 8 series comes out....:D

It won't be Quad SLI as you're only connecting one card on each set of cards with each other. So you'll have two sets of cards, with each set running in SLI, and then on top of that you'd have one card of each set running SLI with each other as well...... uhm :confused:..... yeah, try figuring that one out. :)

But yes, you'd have to get new drivers/bios/whatever to make it work.

yes, you can buy two 7950 cards, but the drivers for quad sli arent ready yet. a certain older set of drivers does work with 2 of these in quad sli, but buggy so nvidia quickly disabled this function until they can get it fixed properly.

the fact is, quad sli is here. with this card (x 2 of them, lol)

I should be able to get them for quite a bit less...

Depends if people want them etc... I doubt there is a big market for 6k video cards.
