[Solved] 16 days without my number (Read this before signing a voice contract)
Earlier this year I signed voice contract.
Early in September I discovered they are overbilling me, so I logged request that they fix it and give me a credit. By late October I haven't received a reply, so I logged another query. Every month the incorrectly billed amount was paid in full by debit order.
On 31 October my SIM went dead. Within a few hours I called them and told them they must fix it soon because people can't call me.
The branch said a SIM swap is not possible or will not help. I complained on Hello Peter. I emailed social at 8ta. I PMed Telkom Mobile. Every time I got a reply saying they'll try to fix it ASAP, but they can't make any promises.
After 16 days, it eventually started working again. I think I'll never know if I lost any clients because of this.
