OK, your attempt here is a derail and to troll. You're not interested in discussing the reasons the Zama Zamas have been operating with impunity under the police noses for over a decade. You're on ignore in this thread for that.
You made a claim, now back it up.
Your rules.
Just admit you have no evidence and it "feels" like this to you.
Then we can agree on some things.

But it was a cute meltdown.

This is a 2015 article stalking about illegal mining for 10 yrs in the country.

And an operation this big with these many employees and a complex trade beyond a regular guys comprehension cannot happen without the police and political connections.

To both i say.
Where is proof of the claim made ?

In October 2021, about 300 illegal miners attacked and shot at police officers and security guards when they tried to prevent the zama zamas from delivering food parcels to miners underground.

Your proof.
Where is it ?

Don't you read what you post?

Foundational policies in the early years of South Africa’s democracy didn’t support artisanal mining as a permanent livelihood strategy. The 1994 Reconstruction and Development Programme simply committed the government to encourage “small-scale mining”. This was on the proviso that safety, labour, environment and health conditions could be maintained. The 1998 Minerals Policy associated artisanal mining with subsistence mining. It flagged the need for the state to employ resources to “control artisanal mining as effectively as possible”.

Never posted it and does not prove your claim.
My excerpt however does however cast doubt on it.

Not overly shocked here....SAPS are absolutely terrible. And yes, I'm sure there are about 20 across this great nation who are OK, the rest not so much. The very people supposed to protect us are the same people you need to avoid.

People like this, in a position of power and authority, should have a mandatory sentence imposed upon them even before their main trial takes place. (In my book this thing would receive a bullet, no place for it in our society)

She is an ex cop so not exactly in a position of authority and power.

The whole thing is just very dodgy because it is slowly looking like this was a setup, the ex cop is a Krugersdorp resident so she was supposed to know just how dangerous the area around the mine dumps is, probably more is revealed soon.

Ex cop/Current cop.
Whatever.
A bullet is the answer.

Unfortunately though this country is governed and policed by criminals, right from the top, down to the arse end.
All the cANCer voters, thanks. You have made this country what it is today....:)

BREAKING NEWS: Rape charges against 14 Krugersdorp suspects dropped

Rape charges against 14 suspects who were accused of raping eight women in Krugersdorp have been dropped.

Eight women from a film crew were gang raped while shooting a music video at an abandoned mine dump in Westville Village in August.

NPA was confident of prosecution

In August, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said there are prospects for a successful prosecution against the accused.

The accused were part of the more than 80 people arrested in the wake of the rape incident.

All the 14 accused were charged with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, robbery with aggravated circumstances, and contravention of the Immigration Act.

One of the accused is a minor who is 16 years-old.

The article doesn't have the details, but the NPA couldn't bind the suspects to the crime scene. No DNA matches, zilch.
