Anticipation, cannot wait.. It's around the corner hopefully we will know on Monday what's happening but I heard from the 8ta on twitter they still under trial phase.

Please 8ta launch your product now before I give my money to CELL C

You will have to keep an eye on the 8ta website

All it says is an announcement is "imminent" and I don't want to go back. Either way, I'm sure it will find it's way onto this forum within minutes of launch.

Hi kingrob

You will have to keep an eye on the 8ta website :)

Thank you
8ta

Come on 8ta, throw us a bone :crying: . Can you at least tell us roughly when the announcement on the official LTE release will be? Days, weeks, end of the month?

Just a note to 8ta: a lot of the early adopters of the 60GB+60GB promo have data plans which expire now. If there's no info on the LTE promotions soon, you may lose many of those customers.

8ta come on please give us a teaser or make an official announcement. I cannot wait until April any longer, have to decide by end of the month if I am going to switch over to another network provider for my bandwidth requirements.

Yes, I am impatient!

I see the LTE coverage is updated also. Durban seems to have the most weird spots covered.
Vodacom seems to be the only network with LTE Coverage on side

Vodacom doesnt have specific contracts just for LTE. Whether you are on a contract or prepaid you just change the apn settings to access the LTE network. Maybe telkom mobile will reveal that the new data bundle prices are infact LTE prices as well?

Correct, but you still need a LTE router to access a LTE tower....and that is most probably another R2000.
