I just saw this new option on my prepaid *180# USSD Menu and immediately called the service center to ask what this was all about. As it turns out:
Option 1: Unlimited Calls to ANY 8ta/Telkom Mobile Cell Numbers. It does not matter if you have 8ta/Telkom Mobile coverage or if you're using roaming on the MTN Network. This option costs R150 per month.
Option 2: Unlimited Friends and Family Offer, meaning you can nominate 5 numbers before hand that is on the 8ta/Telkom Mobile network, and then any calls to those 5 numbers are free. This option costs R100 per month.
Option 3: Nominate 1 Telkom Landline number, all calls to that number from your 8ta/Telkom Mobile sim is free. This option costs R30 per month.
Seems like a good deal. Very competitive towards other networks. Would have been great if there was a package for unlimited calling to all 8ta/Telkom Mobile numbers AND ALL LANDLINE numbers.
