Howzit guys. We met a gay couple this weekend in The Berg and one of them is a Doctor (Very active in and knowledable about HIV). He was one of only 3 doctors willing to treat people with HIV back in the day when it first started rearing its ugly head in our country. Anyway, he strongly believes in medicinal value of firstly, magic shrooms (he has done the whole ceremony things and that kind of thing and swears it helped him deal with a lot of k@k). His partner has a bad case of Tinnitus in the one ear and he is now starting with micro dosing magic shrooms as there are apparently reports it possibly can either take care of it completely, or at least potentially making the noise softer and not so pronounced and easier to live with.

Anyway, he then also brought up Lion's Mane mushrooms which shows very very interesting benefits in mice. Do any of you guys use it? Here is a link:

Lions mane is very similar to magic mushrooms. I have bad tinnitus so will go back to some micro dosing.

Thanks for sharing

Well. Ordered a bottle of 60 caps for R350.00 from a friend that owns a health shop and stocks it. Me and the BF will take one a day and see if we feel anything "different"

The real and only valid question is please provide a reference to a double triple-blind trial done to determine the medical safety and efficacy levels of consuming the shrooms and their extracts? o_O

100%, and often one can get the same benefits by simply making lifestyle changes.

Is this what you are looking for? There are some references in the article but unsure if this is what you are looking for.

This is well known. Check out Joe Rogan's interviews with Paul Stamets and Michael Pollen's books on the matter.

Heard of it's benefits but don't take it:
Neurohealth Properties of Hericium erinaceus Mycelia Enriched with Erinacines
The evidence so far has shown that H. erinaceus mycelium enriched with its active compounds is capable of delaying neuronal cell death in rats with neurodegenerative diseases, such as ischemic stroke, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and depression. Moreover, results have indicated that administration of H. erinaceus mycelia enriched with its active compounds can promote functional recovery and enhance nerve regeneration in rats with neuropathic pain or presbycusis. Despite that more clinical research is needed to fully understand the potential applications of erinacine-enriched Hericium erinaceus mycelium, the majority of preclinical data strongly suggests that it is safe and offers much-needed neuroprotective applications.
