What did you guys think about Jobs (2013); I thought it was okay.

Steve Jobs (2015) look like the real deal.

Lest we not forget the excellent Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999).

Finally, a Steve Jobs movie that Steve Wozniak likes

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was impressed by Aaron Sorkin's and Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs, a biopic. "I saw a rough cut and I felt like I was actually watching Steve Jobs," Woz told Deadline Hollywood, "I give full credit to Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin for getting it so right." The script is 200 pages long, and filled with Sorkin's voluminous dialogue (one wonders how many Sorkinisms show up in the new film).

This is an impressive turn-around, since Wozniak wasn't a fan of the other Steve Jobs biopic, Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher. "There were a lot of things wrong," he said of that movie. Apparently its portrayal of Jobs was too glowing. That's less likely to be a problem for the new movie — one of its significant themes is Jobs' abandonment of his daughter, Lisa.

Fascinating. Thanks for the share.

I have yet to own anything Apple, mainly because I'm a bargain hunter (cheapskate :p ) and everything "Apple" always seems rather expensive.

Still waiting for Taligent and Copland and Gershwin... Why aren't these ever mentioned in the "histories"? Spectacular failures just don't make the cut in sanitised history, it seems.

Will be interesting to see how Fassbender pulls off the look since Kutcher is already a dead ringer for Jobs.

Enjoyed it. He did a good er....job.
