Whenever I see breakdowns I usually take a video and then grab some frames from it. 100% of the time it is a VW. I sometimes skip the odd one or two when I am in a hurry - see, my car is really fast and powerful and requires some attention when I am driving. Maybe someday you will know what it feels like to drive such a car

Well, from the topic I hope you would have worked out it is an Astra. In my case an 8+ year old 1.6 worth about R45k - yet it outlasts and outlooks most VeeBoredomYous on the road.

Not a greedy person by nature, I don't have to underpin my statue with a Benz/Blik Met Wiele and speaking of Opels, I normally fix stripped cambelts on them for a hobby.

stop generalising Roux! u know the TDi, GTi and Scirocco(spelling) will leave stonechips on your windscreen.

Astras a bit heavier that Citi Golfs as well right? I liked the Astra. Took one over 200kmph the one time on an open road.

The reason why the Astras are so rare is that so few people wanted to buy them in the first place...I sweated bullets trying to sell the bloody things...gave up and went back to VW where I could at least sell the product!!

Neva! I only buy jap, this is my first german car. Don't get me wrong the quality seems good it just feels abit lazy.
