Because the phrase is rearranged some people believe that it indicates the order of killing, Brown is Frey, Green is Littlefinger, and Blue the NK.

There were also other people on her list with brown, green or blue eyes. Cersei was always #1 on her blacklist.

It is set in stone. I also believe Arya is carrying Gendry's son... the throne already have an heir.

Arya has never wanted to be a princess/royal. I cannot see her sitting on the throne. Gendry is too naive to be a king and he is also an unlegitimised bastard. Not sure how he could even be legitimised now.

These two are the worst possible combination to lead a kingdom that will be in a state of near ruin once all the dust settles.

Dany and Jon won't take the throne either. My money is Sansa. Perfect candidate. She's effectively become the sort of leader Tywin Lannister said Tommen needs to strive to be. One who can rule fairly and justly while being firm and ruthless when necessary.

Dorne?

Daenerys and the North need an army and Dorne is the only one that hasn't committed forces to anybody. They would however have a reason to fight against Cersei.
There are plenty of uncommitted forces, even in the north.

The Reids have been very quiet...

Not likely the show runners pretty showed they give a **** about the prophecy

True, it was mentioned in some interviews to the actors and most of them seem puzzled about it or thought of it as a crazy theory so it didn't seem like it was a thing.

The child will still be legitimate heir to the throne.

Wasn't there an Azor ahai thing defeating the night king, that didnt happen, maybe this wont happen aswell...

“Prophecy is one of those tropes of Fantasy that is fun to play with, but it can easily turn into a straightjacket if you're not careful. One of the themes of my fiction, since the very beginning, is that the characters must make their choices, for good or ill. And making choices is hard. There are prophecies in my Seven Kingdoms, but their meanings are often murky and misleading, and they seldom offer the characters much in the way of useful guidance.” - George R.R. Martin

What if... now hear me out here... what if the Azor Ahai prophecy is just misleading?

They did spend quite some time touching on the topic especially with Melisandre and Jon's rebirth, for it to all come to "misleading" doesn't seem very nice.

How? Arya has no claim and Gendry is a bastard.

Who will legitimise Gendry in order for him to have a claim? Certainly not Cersei. So it'll have to be whoever comes after Cersei, in which case his claim is gone anyway...

So anyone else feel Jon was way to useless this episode?

His scene with Viserion blocking the Tree Garden was also weird. It felt to me like he was buying time while trying to stay alive at the same time. His shout towards the dragon was also weird. The dragon hesitated for a split second. Actually after re-watching the clip while typing this Jon screams like 3-4 times.... It also sounds like he is screaming Go go go.

Possible he saw Arya gunning for the tree and opted to sacrifice himself to buy time + draw dragons attention?

Why did the dragon hesitate, why did it not just instantly bite or fireball Jon?

EDIT: Possibility of the dragon recognizing the true Targ Heir and hesitating?

Not if you can't legitimise Gendry. If Gendry remains a bastard then his child is a nobody.
No, but there is still the oddity that he be Cersei's son. Also, Gendry made it known to Arya who he really is. This season have brought up many past reminders.

We have a handful of episodes to go, script writers will tell.

Yes, I did. Must have missed it. I thought the only one left now is the one that went for a cuddle with Kalisi after her BFF died in her arms. Glad the dragon is OK. sjoe.
