Perhaps.

Makes for some excellent viewing though regardless.
The picture, special effects and cinematography (except on the last episode) are really good, but the story line is far from excellent, acting has been okay, can't blame the actors though if there's a lack of compelling dialogue.

We have entire story lines which we have to wonder why they were pushed so hard for seasons, that have been rendered moot, in the grand scheme of things they didn't matter. Also subverting expectations for the sake of "subverting" is a far cry from when they did it in the earlier seasons (1-3) to move the plot forward.

Over-analysis just takes away from the experience I find. I just tend to enjoy it for what it is and not what it could/should be.

This ^. Episode 3 would have been epic if I could see what was happening 90% of the episode.
Then it would have been a longer version of Battle of the Bastards.

It was fine at night. Should have just had a bit more lightning so the compression didn't make it look so bad...

More like a right wing take down of an SJW perspective of the episode.
Suggesting Daenerys purposely genocided her troops via a suicidal charge because of the cultural difference between these troops and natives that steps into the realm of alt- right logic

He didn't suggest that. He suggests it was for the best. Which it was for the reasons he gives. The Dothraki are not good people. Their lifestyle depends on conquering and enslaving.

He did ..rather subtlety.

I was looking forward to seeing the Dothraki conquer and pillage Westeros in the name of Daenerys and seeing what tension it would cause to Daenerys' cause.

And add another season to deal with all the social issues? No thanks. Story needs to be wrapped up. All that can be covered in the books...
