people all upset about Jon not hugging his doggie before he left.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure Direwolves don't do the whole hugging thing...

Qyburn reminds me of Senator Sheev Palpatine, the only redemption for the show is force lightning.

I think it's because people don't know how to set up their TV properly.

/s

The show's executing GRRM's vision without the time / writing to make it work. It's sucky.
Martin's vision is for the books. The producers have all of the creative control for seasons now. It is more of the problem that the TV series, due to progression, is more canon than the source material even if much has been adapted for TV production.

It would be might surprising if one of the white walkers brought the Starbucks cup along from the far North. The Earth being flat and all.

On my version it's at 16:35, Tormund is talking about Jon, it cuts to Davos and cuts back to a wider shot of Tormund still talking but the wider shot now shows Daenerys looking at them, right at that moment for a few seconds you can see a Starbucks cup on the table
Oh jeez that's so sloppy. They finished filming almost a year ago. You'd think they would've at least have picked it up.

Yeah I just checked. The Starbucks cup is there for all to see. Not even in bad lighting.

Looks like its there on purpose to get people "talking" and divert attention away from the stupidity of Dany and her crew.

As someone mentioned earlier if all it takes is to eliminate Cersei to avoid wholesale bloodshed then let Arya get a crack at her, she'll be a walk in the park compared to TNK.

Ja, really dick wartime moves and now they're a Dragon short, not to mention risking the life of your main player just to get the Queen to bend the knee - as if she was going to go - hi guys thanks for coming - I hereby surrender unconditionally. The city is yours.

Also appears to be a massive shortage of virgins in Winterfell. Ai tog Jaime.

What actually happens narrative-wise is less important (to me, anyway) than the how and the why...a good story can carry its choices if the writing is good enough. The rush to the end is sacrificing the development of plot - we're getting a Wikipedia entry for story. Case in point -
Sansa goes straight from hearing the secret to blabbing the secret - no second act where she dwells on what she has learnt or something triggers her to act on the information. So without apparent motivation, she chooses to back stab. That's terrible writing. On the other hand, the scene with Varys and Tyrion are very good - setting up their future actions.

The ending is going to be factually what GRRM wanted but without the twists and turns he would have taken to get there.

Lowest-rated episode of the series so far on IMDB.

I know what your are saying, but GRRM have absolutely no input into the show whatsoever, at this stage, other than the basis of his plot. I am also sure that the Night King had a role up to the very end in GRRM's aspiring vision for A Game of Thrones. Look, the producers already eliminated the device, or premise, of the story which was the White Walkers.

She clearly doesn't like Dany. From the directors' interviews at the end, Sansa is a student of Littlefinger, she knows once she shares the info with Tyrion, he is going to share it with Varys, and then everyone will know, putting Dany's claim to the throne, from the people supporting her, into question.

ok...looking ahead...next week : Shall we see Sansa heading south, maybe with the Wildlings army - clearly Dany's boyz are no match for Cersei ..a Little Finger V2 is required .. next week promo has Euron looking rather disturbed , scanning the skies...Drogon clag in Valerian armor ? Courtesy of living in the past Bran...and I smell a high possibility that Tyrion is going to get the spider toasted for treason.
