Daenerys is most likely going to end up dead and John will be king. People will complain about that too.

If they are both alive and they live happily ever after, people will complain about that.

A lot of complaints about episode 3 was that not a lot of people died. People complained about that. Now a dragon dies and people complain about how it died.

People love to complain.

Nail on the head!!
People should just enjoy it for what it is in it's current form.

As a story obviously the dragon lady is going to win but honestly her tactical awareness is zero She has no clue and her advisors are not much better Cersei has much more tactical awareness than Daenerys Cersei learnt from her mistakes Daenerys seems happy to wing it Scuse the pun

Nah, that is just writing going to sh*t.

Daenerys has;

- Without force or threat of violence, gotten the Dothraki to follow her
- Played and outsmarted various Masters of Essos
- Freed and by free-will got the Unsullied to follow her
- Listened to her advisors against her own beliefs and often against her own better judgement. She did not like nor trust the Masters or their slaving or their fighting pits, but she listened to her advisors and let them be. Then the Harpies turned up and everything went to sh*t so she had to put everyone down.
- She left as the de-facto ruler or Essos
- She has the support of Yara's Greyjoy faction and got the Dornish on her side. Before that Highgarden was an ally until House Tyrrell was wiped out by Cersei.
- She just legitimised Gendry Baratheon, which is a long-game of securing another ally.

She has used compassion, freedom of choice and politics alongside force to gain her followers. She is not dumb and has listened to people around her, for the good and bad.

The writers have failed her now. They want a weak Dany so she can become the Mad Queen so they've made her stupid and impulsive.

1. After Blue eyes took out one of her dragons they were vunerable but she did not seem to care Lost another dragon
2 Never in a million years should you use your cavalry against an attacking infantry
3 What was she thinking taking her ships to Kings Landing She knew Euron was there She was in the air
4 Once Euron attacked all she had to do was go to the stern of Euron ships and instead her small fleet was destroyed
5 Aegon took all 7 kingdoms with 3 dragons D has already lost 2

Pathetic

Thank you for confirming my point.

The positives I pointed out happened in previous seasons. Everything you raised has happened this season.

The writers have given her a brain injury and it is not just her. Tyrion is a shell of what he was as well.

Personally I would have taken Cersei out first then gone after Blue eyes
Well, the NK was the immediate threat. If he didn't get taken out first, potentially all human life would've ended. Cersei wasn't exactly a threat - she just kind of chilled in Westeros, didn't actively try and take the North at the time, etc.

Only one mature dragon. Danys dragons were like 8 years old at most? Balerion the dread was 1000 years old and as big as a mountain

I think at the start of season 7 Daenerys mentions that she has 3 fully grown dragons. Back when she first came to Dragonstone and wanted to attack Kings Landing but her advisers said no. So she believes they were fully grown and we've been given no reason to think otherwise.

Kill NK and its game over Destroy Cersei and you have all the armies of the seven kingdoms Go for the NK first and Cersei should have knifed you in the back

Aegon's 3 dragons each had an accomplished dragon rider. Also his hand Orys Baratheon was a better military strategist then what Danny has...Ofc she would have had Barristan Selmy but someone decided he needs to die in some dark alley for no reason...

But, but… they needed the Lannister army…

Strictly speaking, not even the Unsullied in their high numbers would have had a chance against the Golden Company, so I don’t even know how and why they are going to siege or invade King’s Landing. King’s Landing, thanks to Qyburn, Qyburn who also negotiated the Iron Bank deal, had Ballistas installed on King’s Landings outer wall, perhaps also on the inner wall to also act as anti-air.

Just to add, the Golden Company in the books are 10 000 strong, in the series they made them 20 000 strong.

Cercei have to be assassinated. Arya or brother Jaime, the kill is in their hands. And still, then there is Emporer Qyburn and Darth Mountian who would probably make better rulers than any other person in Westeros, but one will probably go out quickly and the other is lined up with the Super, a-hem, Cleganebowl. Fan service.

This battle is going to be cheaper than the Night King invasion.

Euron also doesn’t give a toss whether a dragon dive attacks his ship, it is to be expected, a dragon is an aerial unit, duh. Just have more ships, he has ~1000, positioned more to the back to guard those angles. It is not rocket science, other than a ballista not really able to shoot up into the air, due to poor velocity, it is more a lob at the point it is too heavy at the high arc. Fiction, leaving it at that, but scorpions would have made more sense.

The showrunners did poor research, and they didn’t have any reason to cheapen anything. Better writing was required.
