With all his knowledge of the past, Bran could have used it to play some nasty information warfare against Kings Landing and its allies and get them to give up or sabotage Cercei or know about the secret entrances into Kings Landing. If he could see the past he would know what Dany was capable of. He could have befriended Dany and tell her about her past or warn her or advised them how to take the city easily with all the secrets he knew. He kept quiet while he witnessed Dany secret of becoming more and more mentally unstable.
He chose to shut up and watch all those people die. Doesn't that make him more evil than Dany?

Bran was calculating to get himself to the throne. Maybe he even whispered in Sam and Tyrions ear making them believe he is the rightful king.

Benjen Starks story confuses me somewhat.
He went out past the wall on a raid, never to be heard from again.

Then he shows up out the blue to save whatshisface. He looked like a zombie when he came back.
Was he a part of the walking dead when he reappeared to save the day swinging that fiery ball and chain about?
If so how was he compos mentis?
And where did he disappear off to once again never to be heard of once more?

Benjen explains that, during his fateful ranging beyond the wall, he was attacked by White Walkers, one of whom shoved an ice sword into his gut and left him for dead. He was discovered by the Children of the Forest, who stopped him from falling to the control of the White Walkers by shoving a piece of dragonglass into his chest.[20]

Benjen bids farewell to Bran and Meera.

Benjen eventually escorts Bran and Meera to the weirwood tree nearby the Wall. When asked by Meera why he cannot travel any further south, Benjen explains that ancient spells carved into the foundation of the Wall prevent the dead from passing through it. Benjen says he will continue to fight for the living as long as he can, before departing.[7]

Season 7

Benjen saves Jon from a horde of wights.

When Jon, who has been left beyond the Wall by his group, is about to be swarmed by the army of the undead, Benjen suddenly comes riding in in the last moments, slaying wights from his horse. When he stops in front of Jon, he jumps off his horse and removes the scarf from his head, revealing his survival to the stunned Jon. To save Jon, Benjen heaves him onto his horse and orders him to ride back to the Wall. Jon asks Benjen to come with him but Benjen refuses, instead sending off the horse and drawing his flaming morningstar to make his final stand. As the wights swarm him, Benjen fights back but is eventually overwhelmed and killed by the army of the dead.[21]

HBO made amends with the incredible Chernobyl series. For those who haven't done so already you know what to do
Whilst it might be a good series, the proper thing to do would be to recommend another fantasy-type series, not just any old good series. Swak.

Apparently The Last Kingdom on Netflix is pretty good...

Not the thread for that although HBO needs to shoulder some of the blame for this abomination.

Well, we already know how it ends anyway.
Imagine season 2 is about Eskom and has the same ominous music.

Instead of pieces of black graphite and the KGB being the villains you have BEE, corruption and the ANC

Or starts off with them building Koeberg, saying "don't worry, this is perfectly safe..."
