Wtf did I just watch?????!!!!!
Wtf did I just watch?????!!!!!
Especially if they are related to the Starks!
I'm not sure there is a tv series, past or present, that would survive another season after a scene like that red wedding scene.
Obviously there is a lot more to GoT then the key characters just recently deceased but not having read the books I'm battling to find justification to carry on watching the series. Simply too dark and depressing to be considered escapism.
Most folk who read the books had the same reaction when they read that chapter. I put the book down and only picked it up a day or seven later. I can still remember the last line of the chapter exactly. It starts by saying something like the steel was at her throat and "it's bite was red and cold." Read it a couple of times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
You're at the GRRM crossroad... From right here, he's either one of your favourite authors ever or you'll never read him again.
Any Stark who travels south will never come back home. It's a curse! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that there's no weirwood tree left in the southern part of Westeros.
Ned's father and brother went to King's Landing and ended up being roasted alive by the Mad King which triggered the downfall of House Targaryen
The North remembers. Lamprey pies FTW.
I recon Wyman Manderly's pies are better... Nom nom nom.
EDIT: 'Tho I think we're talking about the same three pies.![]()

I couldn't stop thinking about that chapter for a week even when I was beating off to a really good stuff
So ****ing sick. GRRM really has a pair of watermelon sized balls.
