Allow me to show you that you're wrong. Jamie cannot fight with his left hand and definitely not against Cersei's champion. It would be too obvious that it was rigged if Jamie wins.

It's what the last episode hinted at but is possibly a red herring
Other options I can think of
- Cersei chooses the Mountain to fight then Tyrion would obviously choose Prince Oberon.
- Tyrion could also name the tall blonde woman Brienne of Tarth to fight for him
- The same sellsword guy Tyrion chose previously but that would be a bit too obvious
- Tyrion vs his brother. Both of them have disabilities but his brother might fall on his own sword instead of killing him
A mud pit fight between Cersei, Margaery and Shae would be the best though.

If Tyrion dies I'm going to be seriously pissed

In the books Tyrion's trial by combat is pretty epic but not nearly as much as what I think is coming in episode nine, given the way the show has gone so far... Hold onto your hats boys.

I think they can still make it epic even if it is 3-5 minutes. It'd be boring to extend it longer than that. The wedding in the TV show was very disappointing compared to the books though, I suppose they couldn't possibly use real pigs, it would made the bunny huggers go mad.
