I would just like to say a monster THANK YOU to Telkom Mobile for helping me getting my Samsung Galaxy Note 2!!
The Smart 150 contract + 5GB monthly data for R299 is most probably the best mobile phone contract currently available in South Africa - and I realised it almost too late.
Went shopping at all the Telkom Mobile shops, and while the Smart 150 contract was still available on their system, no shop had stock of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 anymore.
After visiting all the shops in Cape Town, I realised I was caught fast asleep. Almost gave up hope of finding a phone, when I decided to PM the Telkom Mobile rep as a last resort.
Got a phone call from Olga at the Bayside Telkom Mobile store today, telling me that the Malmesbury branch still had a Note 2 and that it is being couriered to them. I could come and pick the phone up after work!!
So I got to the Bayside shopping mall and Olga had my phone ready. Filled in the contract details, got my new micro sim & a few minutes later I walked out of the shop with my brand new Titanium Grey Galaxy Note 2.
It must have been one of THE most pleasant shopping experiences for a new phone and contract I have ever had, and Olga just made it extra special. She got everything sorted in no time and just a pure joy to be helped by her.
And I got my Smart 150 contract!! Let me see :

150MB data to use on any network, should you be outside the TM coverage area (to keep whatsapp going

First 12 months free TM to TM phone calls
5GB monthly data bundle (this is what any smartphone needs!)
It simply feels unreal. I'm still waiting for Telkom Mobile to phone me and tell me that they've made a mistake. It is value that I have never seen before in a mobile phone contract.
And the biggest surprise was that my Note 2 is the 32GB version, where I was expecting the 16GB version. That was just the cherry on top.
The Note 2 is gorgeous, the non-pentile Super AMOLED screen is out of this world, the FM radio I really wanted, it feels fantastic to hold in my hand & I am simply unable to put this fantastic phone down.
So, Telkom Mobile, I am extremely grateful for everything you have done for me & I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart!
