Food truck /facepalm

This country does not know how to do food trucks and street food or such.

This is just a stall within a trailer that never leaves the premises.

All in all, this is an ad for Checkers who is trying to be Woolworths.

It looks a lot like the new Food Lovers that opened recently in PE.

almost 3 months after the rosebank store has opened up and it's fallen apart already. hopefully this one will not follow the same path.

A bakery stocking freshly-made artisanal breads

Can they really be called that?

At least the EFF won't potest outside since the colour of the chocolate reflect the demographics in their favour.

I dont get why even new checkers stores still have the system where you have to pick a checkout counter to queue in and hope the line you chose goes quick.

The system of having a single queue for all is much better

I don't understand why so many supermarkets still operate this way. It's one of the many reasons I shop at Woolies. One queue, multiple counters is so much more efficient.

You mean Gqeberha?
Nah, PE remains a valid nickname so I'm going to stick with that for the foreseeable future. :)

I will endeavor to remember to use Gqeberha if I ever post something to myself.

Checkers by far has the kakkest culture amongst it's staff.
Rather spend the money of altering that, then building some fancy shmancy store - that's what Woolies is for.
