Beautiful. Its not going to be circulated, is it?
Not in general circulation. It can be purchased from their retail stores at a much higher price than the face value of R25. They are for coin collectors mostly.

Hmm, we need circulation quality R10, R20 and R50 coins.

Everything under 50c needs to go.

Considering that the Rand is worth less than 1/100th of what it used to be, this is well overdue.

Firstly, these are only collector coins. Secondly, they are extremely over-priced. Never buy coins from the Mint. Wait a few months and you can buy them at close to bullion value from those who burnt their fingers.

I lose coins all the time, losing a R5 is no loss but losing R50 :crying:

Did you read what I said, or are you just unable to understand ?
I suggest you read what you wrote, and decide whether you honestly think that it doesn't create the impression that you thought these coins are legal tender.

Nope, read it again, I wasn't even talking about those coins, I specifically referred to circulation quality coins.

You really need to take some reading / comprehension classes.

At worst you can accuse me of being off topic.
