We all know the only way you are going to get fibre in your area is if you get a large number of people in your area to show their interest in fibre.
Sometimes it's really difficult to get people to show their interest therefore your area might not get fibre for a long time.
I read in a MyBB article 2 years ago that it costs around R700 per metre(could have increased by now) to lay fibre on curbside, so I was thinking why don't these fibre companies allow the individual customers to pay the cost of laying fibre only for their house instead of people battling to get their community to show interest.
Any thoughts on the idea?
