A second-wave of Ramaphoria may be on the way – and it could hit the rand

A second dose of 'Ramaphoria' could be in store for the rand, according to a Bloomberg survey of executives that found domestic politics would be the most significant issue affecting currency moves in the next year.

South Africa will be fu**ed in 2019, especially the period leading up to the elections. We can expect to see a large sentiment of anti-white propaganda from the government. It will further sour race relations and will have an extremely negative impact on the markets and the economy. EWC will be driven on a massive scale leading up to the elections, which will see more damage to the property market, banking industry and massive foreign investment outflows on the markets. The JSE will be bleeding for the biggest part of the first half of the year.

Cyril's talk about vilifying white people, EWC, BBEEE, AA and more seems will extend past the elections. This will furthermore have a direct and hard hit on the private industry. Business decline will continue as it did the past 15 years. There will not be a turnaround any time soon.

2019 will be an extremely bad year for South Africa. Having any investments in the JSE will be to ones own detriment.
