Hi there

I was wondering if you guys would support the idea of a wiki for MyADSL? Check out http://www.wikipedia.com

In short it would be an online manual for ADSL and Broadband especially for the South African user. I think it should be found at http://www.myadsl.co.za/manual (note it is not there yet [8)] )

It will be edited by the users in the know... It is open source which makes it very easy to impliment. I am leaving this open for discussion... Would you contribute?

Cheers
Antowan

Likewise. Probably contrary to the Wiki spirit, but we'll have to be smart off the mark, to preclude the blathering and idiot-speak from those who may not contribute positively...

Agreed, I'm not sure whether a wiki allows for moderators or something similar, but some of the more technically minded folk could possibly be put in charge to ensure no talking from the butt end.

Actually Wiki's do count on moderators, but purely to keep the wiki in question in line with its set goal. Version control and the like...

I am not at all for an overly moderated wiki, but it must be helpful in spirit and in practice... Everybody must be able to edit and contribute. I am sure a person will know his or her own skills and limitations... [:I]
