"Challenge" (blanket word for any problem).
"Actually" (as opposed to hypothetically?).
"Literally" (as opposed to figuratively?).
"Scourge" (everything is now a scourge, usually pronounced "skudge").

Phrases:

"What we are saying is.." (Zuma and his acolytes do this all the time - why not just say it?).
"At the end of the day..." (Ultimately?)
"Informed by" (Mbeki started this. It is meaningless).
"Grassroots level" (too awful to comment on).
"By the way" (spoken at the beginning of every sentence, usually out of any context of which it would be "be the way").

In writing:

"Their", "They're" and "There" confusion.
"Too" and "to" confusion.

Uh-huh. But anyone can make that mistake. Like you just did as I am sure you meant to include a "There" there instead of the second "Their".
