I did the aa multi-pointcheck on a car that I sold. According to the website ( http://www.aatestanddrive.co.za/article.php?id=multi ) the multi-pointcheck included a Roadworthy test. Now that the new owner wants to register the vehicle on her name, she saw that the roadworthy test was not done. She phoned them and they say that I just wanted the Multi-pointcheck. BUT ACCORDING TO ME THAT INCLUDED A ROADWORTHY TEST.

Now I look like the idiot.

it was done at the Greenstone AA

I have already warned people to be very wary of AA checks...to repeat, I have seen a car get an A1 rating from AA, complete with missing left front shock!

AA stopped taking my money many moons ago!

The suspension on that car had shock and coil as two separate entities.

the guy who bought it after the AA check/roadworthy, asked me to drive it because it was handling badly...it bounced so much after I reversed it out of the drive, that I stopped right there and looked underneath...no shock on left front...end of story...I don't trust AA!

Yeah, my grandad was an AA member his entire life and swore by them.

But in the last five or so years they've been on a downward slope service and reliability wise...
