Please may you assist me with a query.
I recently checked the AARTO Query My Fine option on the AARTO website and noticed that there are fines for my vehicle:
• 2 from the End of Last Year Speeding Fines – Yet I have never received any notices at all.
-Is there anything I can do, as I would have preferred to pay the discount, but that has since expired.
-Is it not unlawful for them NOT to issue a letter allowing the customer to pay within this time frame?
• Traffic Infringement in Pretoria – Enforcement Order Status
- This is from the beginning of 2014, yet I received the notice in May and I submitted a Notice of Representation as I have never been to Pretoria, via email and fax. I asked them for proof as well.
-But I have never received a reply.
-Looking at the system it seems they are still keeping this notice and are not cancelling it.
-I have since emailed and faxed them again and tried calling but no one answers.
Do you perhaps have any ideas on what I can do or is there someone else I can contact at AARTO to assist?
