Absa reveals details about person behind data breach

This person will no doubt (if found guilty) spend a lot of years behind bars.

Fraud seems to carry heftier sentences than murder in this country sometimes.

Let's be honest...

Economic crime is a leading cause of incarceration for women:

I wonder what percentage of economic crimes are committed by women vs men though. That would be the telling statistic, which I cannot find right now (I will admit to not trying too hard).

But I suppose the previous comment pretty much confirms it (if honest, which I have no reason to doubt):

My brother. He's in ABSA senior management.

Was wondering why I am getting so much SPAM both via Email and on my phones. These Fookers should be charged for this. If they don't know how to secure this how is our money "safe" with them. Idiots.

As @COJ2019 said above, my wife strangely enough has been receiving DAILY a call from ABSA credit card department for last month asking if she would like to increase her limits... We have asked to be taken off the call list, spoken to the supervisor, threatened to report them for harassment but daily they call... Starting to wonder now if it really is ABSA now....

It's probably the Experian data leak.
