Went to a LAN this weekend. I changed some network settings so people could browse my shared files. I think what I did was turned simple file sharing off, enabled printer and file sharing (again) and told XP (Pro, SP3) That I'm part of a small network with no internet connection and set my IP. everything was fine and dandy till I came home. My PC couldn't even access the router, so I reversed all but the file sharing settings, told XP that This was the only PC connecting through a Hub, Now I have have this...
A Found a quite a few folders (in a previously shared folder) Give this "Access Denied" Error, then I would just go into their settings and enable access for my user account, fixed it, But now there are a few folders that won't even allow me to change the security settings for them, so I'm effectively locked out of my own files!
my firewall is ZoneAlarm, but I don't think its doing anything wrong

Anybody have any Idea how I can fix this Please?

Try taking ownership of the folders or files and onc eyou have ownership, you should be able to change the permissions...
