Hello,
These might seem like an easy question but I cant seem to find the answer.
I have an application on a PC which communicates with another device wireless'ly by means of a D-Link Access Point. I want to introduce a second D-Link access point into the setup to increase the wireless range of the application but am not sure of the architecture to use?
I am guessing you can't put the second D-Link AP in AP mode as the initial PC application will only connect to one of the AP that you specify correct, it cant switch between them automatically can it based on which one has the stronger signal?
I am guessing then that you have one D-Link in AP mode and the rest in Repeater Mode so as to extend the range
Also is it possible to determine from which D-Link the Wireless Packet originated. I don't just want the data pack but also want to know from which D-Link it came
Thanks
