Uncapped Internet in the most remote parts of South Africa

South Africans living in remote and lightly populated areas often do not have access to LTE, 5G, or fibre.

Lack of population density, the absence of supporting infrastructure like power, and difficult terrain can make it financially challenging for network operators to roll out infrastructure to more remote locations.

How can you leave out Fair Usage Policies? Or is getting throttled to useless speeds not important?

Nothing compares to Starlink in rural areas, it's as simple as that. I think MyBB will write an article subtly promoting quite literally anything these days should the price be right. It's a shame that it continues to be seen as a trusted source for tech news, but the clock is ticking to the inevitable.

edit: Also, you should clarify this further for Wisps:

This requires a reliable and direct line of sight between the dish and the tower.

Often, as is the case for every farm in the area I stay in, you need to build your own tower to enable this which alone will cost more than a Starlink kit. Oh, and it's also subject to there being an existing user close enough to you, which I did not have. But I guess that's not important to mention either.
