JSE Listed Technology company now seeks an experienced Public Sector or coporate sector Specialist. They sell a full range of Information Technology solutions.
As the Public Sector or corporate sector account Executive, you will build relationships with senior stakeholders across the government space. As the lead, you will evangelize the organization's core offerings whilst uncovering opportunities. You will develop key alliances and partnerships within the client and drive business development across the each department.
you will focus on strategic and tactical planning around developing and then coordinating the focus of a Public Sector growth strategy. You must have strong industry knowledge and relationships across the vertical. You will also collaborate with Sector Account Managers and other Market Development Leaders with the Sector, as well as external Service Delivery, Sales and Solutions Consulting and other groups to align activities in pursuit of a growth agenda.
This individual must have success in the following:
Develop a strategic and tactical plan to grow revenue in the Public Sector, both by winning new written business and renewals. Help develop a plan for sector expansion.
Affiliate with industry associations and go-to-market partners to maintain expertise in the business needs of Public Sector vertical.
Advise the Sales and Service Delivery teams on how to leverage new written business based on industry trends and directions.
Partner with Marketing to influence the design of promotional tactics and programs which will facilitate growth in the Public Sector
Develop a perspective on business activities outside of the division and know how to connect to broader company organizations to develop a more complete market plan.
Work with Solutions Consulting and Product Management to influence the design of Public Sector-specific solutions, consulting, IT and delivery
Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Operations Manager to identify specific Public Sector compliance/market requirements and ensure operational and marketing processes comply
Lead the acquisition processes including participating in due diligence and integration activities.
Work closely with the Public Sector Leaders, Business Operations Manager, Consulting Solutions and Account Managers to develop a winning business plan for a sector.
Work with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Service Delivery and other support groups (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal) to facilitate their go-to-market efforts in support of the sector strategy.
Qualifications For The Job
Experience selling across Public sector National Accounts
A business degree or equivalent qualification
You must be strong and knowledgeable when it comes to tenders
You must have sold managed services and solutions, unfortunately PRODUCT sales professionals will not be considered.
This opportunity will go up to R500 000 CTC excluding commission
