Excuse me, but show me ONE time I have EVER defended, supported, condone, created ANY kind of world in which sexual assault can take place?

A sexual predator can and will use whatever they can to get close to their target of choice. Must we ban scout leaders, teachers, art teachers, sports coaches, dance teachers, doctors, dentists, nurses, social workers... = basically the entire range of otherwise normal professions which have been used as a cover at one time or another for a pervert to get close to their target?

The answer is patently no! But if you are inherently already prejudiced against gay/trans/alphabet soup people then you are going to be more inclined to throw them all under the bus.

Agreed, but care is warranted. I bet you anything that trans people have disproportionate numbers of sexual predators as compared to the general population, so giving them easy access to say womens bathrooms is a very bad idea.

I know one trans person personally, and he/she is already showing a lot of the same patterns of behavior as the person this thread is discussing.

I'm pretty sure not, but I do agree that giving men access to women's bathrooms is a bad idea BECAUSE it makes it easier for predators to take advantage. I don't for one second believe that that alphabet soup community have a higher percentage of sexual predators than the rest of the world.

The solution has always been to have 3 bathrooms - male / female / both. Because I'm equally certain there are men who would not like to haul their junk out in front of a woman to try to pee. Some of your little chaps are shy enough as it is without that added pressure.

I realise this makes retrofitting existing bathrooms a painful exercise but honestly you have to accommodate other special needs - wheelchair access, baby changing rooms etc. so this is just one more on the list.

And I agree with you mental illness is only a problem when the person becomes violent and want to hurt others. There is an argument though for protecting people with mental illness from self harm.
