I can not comment since the demo screen is running on different computer than mine.
Colour of the acer is quite vivid(but it could achieve with any video card today), I was amazed by the vista screen saver (called strips or something), and the texture is very fine when I look at the desktop. Should be a good buy for the money.

Make a very wise decision and get yourself the Acer 24".

For the price its not worth getting the 22" Samsung.

The colour is amazing and 5ms response is more than good enough for gaming. The 1920x1200 resolution really make your gfx card work very hard but with a decent card you wont have a problem. If you dont want to run it at 1920x1200 the just change the resolution. You will never have a problem with not seeing things on the screen.

If your monitor is halfway decent, it should have an option somewhere in the menus to run at 1:1 pixel mapping. I did this with my BenQ FP241W and it works like a charm. It just runs at the centre of the screen, with the surrounding area black. Not exactly the best gaming experience but it works. Then again I was using a loan computer and was running the game at 1024x768. Which is small compared to the native resolution. Also, nVIDIA drivers have a similar option somewhere in the interface.

If anyone has the cash and can get hold of it, get a BenQ FP241W 24" The size and quality of the thing is just amazing. Then again I'm biased lol

I've seen the Acer and Samsung monitors mentioned here while I was in IC, and they seemed ok I guess. But do your homework and research the monitor as much as you can.

I know, I run a lot of older games that way ;)
