Activating gps in flight mode

I have an iPad Air 2 Wifi+cell. I would like to know if there is a way to activate the gps while in flight mode? Is there a cydia hack that some of you may know? I have jail broken my iPad.

I know of 1 solution. You have to create a password for your SIM card. Reboot then don't type your password in. That way your iPad won't be looking for cellphone reception yet the gps will be enabled.

Just switch off all your radios, ie mobile, wifi and bluetooth.

Then you effectively have airplane mode with GPS still working.

How do I switch off just cellular? I can disable mobile data. not the carrier.
