Activesync setup issue

I know this has nothing to do with MTN, but I know there's some very clever people hanging around here. If I should rather post this elsewhere, please let me know where.

Recently my Outlook configuration changed at the office (upgraded to 2007). I do not want to sync the corporate address book with my device (Imate JASJAM) but only my personal contacs (currently in a subfolder under the main contacs folder in Outlook.

When I select "Contacts" in Activesync (v. 4.5) the settings button becomes greyed-out.

How can I tell activesync to only sync the specific folder I want?

Sorry bud Active sync wont budge on that one ... your best bet would be to create sub folders for your contacts and shove all your personal contacts into the original contacts folder.
I am not quite sure but i think you could change the settings in Active sync 4.2
give it a stab and let us know what happens

OK, so I created another contacts folder under Personal Folders (say Office_contacts) and moved the corporate addresses over to the new folder. Then moved my private contacts in the main "Contacts" folder. It now syncs correctly, but I may still get a visit from IT

Anyway, thats my workaround for this one.
