Ok right, who reckons someone has figured out a new stop for the Gravy Train here?

New? Noooit. It's been a stop for ages already. LAWL.

In 2004, Icasa changed the public broadcaster’s licence conditions, limiting the time it could dedicate to advertising to a maximum of 12 minutes an hour. This was implemented last year.
I reallly did not know that.
Wow.
I wonder if SABC advertising SABC is classified as Advertising.

I am quite happy with this arrangement, and I don't think that making the period longer will be beneficial to small business that can no longer afford to advertise on TV. These businesses must find other avenue's to advertise in.

Also ... does this mean that the SABC is so profitable that they can stop with the TV Licensing carp?

Maybe the companies should pull all advertising from the S(ANC)BC and see how long the S(ANC)BC lasts without them?

Probably not long...

YES! STOP with the bloody tv license bs then...
Rich scoundrels stealing from people.. You know if they actually allowed other companies to advertise instead of airing the "Pay ur TV license, its the right thing to do" ad, they would make more money than collecting for tv licences
