Adsl 1meg

My line was upgrded to a 1 meg but i dont understand why it does not pefrom like a 1meg line? feels like im still on 512, i ran the local test

Your line speed is approximately 454.1 Kbps or 55.6 kBytes/sec

But it does show under adsl menu

DownStream = 1152 upstream = 640

Any reason for this

ISP related maybe... phone your isp then telkom.

i just upgraded also....hope i dont have this problem...who do you have as your isp?

i use telkom isp and mweb and they both have the same results, should i let the isp's know that i have upgrade to a 1meg???, is it something they have to do on there side to?

Just spoke to Mweb adsl and told me its not isp related issue and is a telkom issue

are you sure the upstream is 640kbps? coz if it is u're quite lucky - as far as I'm aware the top sync upstream speed for 1mb/4mb is 384k ?
