ADSL account won't connect - other ISP's work perfectly.

I have an ADSL account that won't connect/login.

I can dial the connection fine through windows PPoE (router set in bridge mode.) - so I'm sure the username and password is correct.

If I enter other ISP account details into my router setup page it will connect to them just fine. The other accounts that work just fine are an IS uncapped account and an mweb uncapped account.

Router is one of those Telkom jobbies - Netgear DGN2200

What gives?

Is it maybe not one of those issues where the username or password is to long for the routers configuration fields?

Also had an issue with one of the Telkom routers with a complex password using either ampersand or quotes that the router web page mangled when it save it.

That might very well be a problem with this current password I have. Thanks, will look into it.

Update:

Changed the password and it logged in first time.

Seems like the telkom routers don't like it if your password has weird charcters in it.

Thanks to everyone for their input :)
