ADSL, Afrihost / Vodacom 3G down in Durban?

Hi

Anyone has similar problems this morning - seems its regional or national. Mail and browsing very intermittent. Cannot connect to Office365 and some web sites

I had issues connecting to Microsoft dev sites from my Afrihost Business Uncapped account. Could just be a Microsoft issue but my neighbours account seemed fine.

UPDATE 9:20am 15 October 2013 Our team reports that our Mobile Data network is now fully restored and clients should experience normal connectivity. Our DSL network team are continuing to address connectivity issues on the Eastern (KZN) region, and we are hopeful for a resolution soon. We will continue to monitor our Mobile network in the meantime to ensure normal performance levels.

I had massive issues with Afrihost ADSL data in Gauteng this morning and again a few hours later. Pings looked fine, but I just couldn't get any pages to load through. Looked like they were running a massive transparent proxy and that the proxy was giving issues. Non-http traffic wasn't affected nearly as much. Skype was working and HTTPS traffic was fine.
