Data prices in South Africa are coming down, and will drop further in the next three years.

Hope so. Would live a slight price drop, but would be equally happy for free speed upgrade instead of a price drop.

The company also implemented speed increases across its fibre portfolio – upgrading 2Mbps lines to 4Mbps, and 8Mbps to 10Mbps.[

Does not help me on ADSL.
Too far from the exchange and Openserver has not installed fibre or MSAN

For the lucky few, I can't get an upgrade cause I'm limited to 4megs, Fibre stopped about halfway down my road. The only good thing is, I'm hopefully moving soon.
