I was informed in another thread that its impossible to get a 30 ping from international servers.

Now my question is simple; why is it that i can get 30ping on southafrican servers and not overseas; even if i can download at the same speeds internationaly and locally?

Try Google - there are many good sites explaining the difference between latency (ping) and download speeds

lol is this a serious topic ?

Why be so rude! The guy has a question and he has come to the forum for an answer!

Just because we all like to bash Telkom does not mean we have to bash other people who come here with questions!

k i'll let you off the hook this time, but next time think a little before asking or use the search function you could have found alot of info about pings/latency
